NEW DATE ANNOUNCED

Prevention Fest is moving to Saturday, July 17, 2027.

The Animal-Angels Foundation board met and made the call to move the first annual Animal Welfare Prevention Fest from July 2026 to July 17, 2027 at Fultondale Bark Park.

Prevention Fest works when the partners, sponsors, rescues, and shelters under the tent are already in real relationship with AAF and with each other. We have the foundation. We do not yet have the depth. One more year to build it.

Same venue. Same vision. A network that has had a year to grow into the moment.

WHY PREVENTION FEST

Every Station. Every Conversation. Every Connection.

Most pet surrender begins before the shelter. Families are often out of options, not out of love. Prevention Fest puts the whole support network in one place for one day. Wellness. Training. Housing resources. Behavior help. Adoption matches. Community.

Thirty activity stations across wellness, education, fun, and adoption. Every partner is a piece of the prevention network. Every family leaves with at least one new resource they did not know about.

Join the prevention movement.

How partner stations work: When you sign up as a partner, you pick the station activity that matches what you do. A vet clinic might run the vaccine station. A trainer might run the leash skills demo. A landlord or property manager might staff the renter rights workshop. Every partner gets a named activity, a visible station in their zone, and the freedom to represent their organization while delivering real services to families. Sign up as a partner and choose your station.

Bring the kids. Prevention Fest has a dedicated Fun Zone with face painting, a kids corner with coloring and crafts, a photo booth, and a pet parade. While parents visit the wellness and education stations, the kids have their own space to enjoy the day. This is a family event from top to bottom.
